Ingredients:
- 400g pork tenderloin (or chicken/beef), thinly sliced
- 3 ripe plums, pitted and sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey (or brown sugar)
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Sauce:
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, and chili flakes. Set aside.
- Cook the Pork:
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced pork and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Cook the Plums:
- In the same pan, add the plums and a splash of water. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften and break down.
- Combine & Simmer:
- Return the pork to the pan and pour in the sauce. Stir everything together and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
- Finish & Serve:
- Drizzle with sesame oil and stir to combine. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot with steamed rice and pak choy.
